1. Shackleton succeeded in saving all of the membersof his crew; he didn't succeed in being the first to cross the South Pole's ice cap.
ReplyDelete6. The voyages were alike in that the people on both ships were traveling into the unknown. Both voyages were attempting to achieve a goal, and both experienced hardships. The goals were different. The people aboard the "Mayflower" wanted religious freedom, while Shackleton and his crew wanted to be the first to cross the South Pole's ice cap. The "Mayflower" journey took place nearly 300 years earlier and included families, while the "Endurance" journey included only explorers and crew.
4. I think the most dandres part of shackleton went was when they went to build a home because it was cold, wet, and dark.
